New delhi, January 4, Jankranti News, : —- United Andhra Pradesh former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s daughter YS Sharmila today joined the Congress party in the presence of Rahul Gandhi and AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge at the National Congress Office in Delhi.  On this occasion, AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge and Rahul Gandhi wrapped a scarf on YS Sharmila and invited them to the Congress party.  On this occasion, YS Sharmila said… YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) has merged with Congress party.

YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) is happy to merge with Congress, said YS Sharmila.  My father YS Rajasekhar Reddy worked for the Congress party all his life,” she said. “I am following in the footsteps of my father YS Rajasekhar Reddy,” said YS Sharmila.

Congress leaders and Congress party workers in Andhra Pradesh expressed joy over YS Sharmila joining Congress party and YSR Telangana party (YSRTP) being merged with Congress party. ‘Assembly Elections will be held soon in Andhra Pradesh’.  To strengthen the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh, the national leadership of the Congress party is soon going to give the post of Andhra Pradesh Congress Party (APCC) president to YS Sharmila, political analysts opined.
