MP JANKRANTI NEWS (ASSAM): President’s Medal for Distinguished Service is awarded for the special distinguished record in Service and the Medal for Meritorious Service is awarded for the valuable service and devotion to duty.
It is a proud moment for the Assam Police that Surendra Kumar IPS, ADGP (Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Wing), has been conferred the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) on the occasion of Republic Day.
It is to be mentioned that along with IPS Surendra Kumar, 14 other police personnel have been presented with the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM).
The awarded police personnel are as follows:
