Jankranti News (Assam) : The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra was commenced from Manipur on January 14th, 2024.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra which is led by Rahul Gandhi to make its entry into Assam on Thursday, January 18 (Today).
The Nyay Yatra started today from the area of the Tuli post office in Nagaland at around 8 am and will cover approximately around 1.5 km within Nagaland.
The Yatra is then expected to reach the Assam border by around 9:30 am. The journey from Nagaland to Assam will be marked by a formal “Flag-Handover” at the Inter-State border.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
1. At 08:00 am the Nyay Yatra resumes from near the Post Office Tuli of Nagaland.
2. At 09:00 am the Flag Handover ceremony at Nagaland – Assam border (approx 17 km journey).
3. At 12:00 pm first morning break at Puthinadi of Jorhat (approx 44 km journey).
4. At 12:30 pm media interaction by Jairam Ramesh at Puthinadi of Jorhat (approx 44 km journey).
5. At 02:00 pm the Yatra Resumes from Nakachari Debarapara of Jorhat (approx 5 km journey).
6. At 03:30 pm the Padyatra starts from Lahoty Petrol Pump in the Jorhat Town (approx 28 Km) to Nehru Park Chariali of Jorhat followed by a Public Addressing.
7. The Night Halt at Kumar Gaon, Nimati Road of Jorhat (about 13 km by car).
Rahul Gandhi is expected to travel around 833 km covering 17 districts in Assam.The Nyay Yatra will end in the state of Assam on 25th January, 2024.
