Gopalganj, Bihar State, February 13, Jankranti News,: —- An atrocity happened last night (Monday) in Gopalganj, Bihar.  AIMIM (All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen) state secretary and party district president Abdul Salam, also known as Aslam Mukhiya, was shot at by unknown persons last night and fled.  He was seriously injured.  Although the locals took him to the hospital, Abdul Salam died as his condition worsened.  Asaduddin Owaisi, president of AIMIM party, who came to know about the matter, expressed deep shock.  He expressed his deepest condolences to the family.  He said that he is praying to give courage to Mukhiya’s family.

 Asaduddin Owaisi reminded that Siwan district president Arif Jamal was also shot dead last month.  On this occasion, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar came under fire.  “While you have secured your seat in the race for the seat, still do some work.  Why are only our leaders being targeted?  Will their families get justice?  asked Asaduddin Owaisi via “x”.

 However, more details regarding this incident are yet to be known.  The police have registered a case and are hunting for the culprits.  The police said that they will nab the accused as soon as possible.
