Trivandrum, February 20, Jankranti News,: —- Government of Kerala (Kerala Govt) has taken a crucial decision.  Govt employees working in the state have been directed not to operate any YouTube channels.  It has been clarified that no employee who performs duties should run YouTube channel.  If anyone does that, it will be a violation of the Kerala Government Employees Rules, 1960, it said.

केरल सरकार (Kerala government) ने एक अहम फैसला लिया है. राज्य में कार्यरत सरकारी कर्मचारियों को निर्देशित किया गया है कि वे किसी भी YouTube चैनल का संचालन न करें। इसमें स्पष्ट किया गया है कि ड्यूटी करने वाला कोई भी कर्मचारी यूट्यूब चैनल न चलाए। अगर कोई ऐसा करता है तो यह केरल सरकार कर्मचारी नियम, 1960 का उल्लंघन होगा।

Jivo has stated that the personal freedom of the employees is limited only to use internet and social media and they should not use it to get subscribers and get financial benefit through YouTube channels.  The government issued these orders in the wake of the firemen’s appeal seeking permission to run a YouTube channel.  Moreover, the Kerala government has issued orders to government employees who are already running YouTube channels to close their channels.

जीवो ने कहा है कि कर्मचारियों की व्यक्तिगत स्वतंत्रता केवल इंटरनेट और सोशल मीडिया का उपयोग करने तक सीमित है और उन्हें इसका उपयोग सब्सक्राइबर प्राप्त करने और YouTube चैनलों के माध्यम से वित्तीय लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए नहीं करना चाहिए। सरकार ने ये आदेश दमकल कर्मियों द्वारा यूट्यूब चैनल चलाने की अनुमति मांगने की अपील के मद्देनजर जारी किए हैं। इसके अलावा, केरल सरकार ने उन सरकारी कर्मचारियों को आदेश जारी किया है जो पहले से ही YouTube चैनल चला रहे हैं, वे अपने चैनल बंद कर दें।
