Jamia Nagar, New Delhi, January 29, Jankranti News, : —– The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has reacted to the news that the ASI has identified a temple under the Gnanavapi Masjid. The law board dismissed the news and said that the matter has not been fully confirmed in the ASI report. AIMPLB executive member Kasim Rasool Ilyas told the media that the ASI report is not a decisive basis in this case. He accused some religious organizations of misleading people about Gnanavapi Masjid. He said that they are trying to create unrest in the society.
Earlier, the lawyer on behalf of the Hindu petitioners spoke to the media and referred to the ASI report. The lawyer on behalf of the Hindu petitioners stated that the ASI has found in its survey that there is evidence that a Hindu temple was demolished in the 17th century and a Gnanavapi mosque was built.
Meanwhile, the Anjuman Intejamia Masjid Committee (AIMC), which is looking after the affairs of the Gnanawapi Masjid, said that it will respond to this after reading the ASI report completely with the help of its legal team.
Lawyer Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi on behalf of the Hindu women petitioners commented that the ASI survey is scientific. It is stated that the survey report is authorized and all matters are clarified in it.
