Delhi, March 29, Jankranti News,: —Karnataka Assembly Elections rang the bell, Chief Election Commissioner of India (CEC) Rajeev Kumar has announced the schedule of Karnataka Assembly Elections today. Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said that the Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections will be held on May 10. He said that elections are going to be held in a single phase for all 224 seats in the state. He said that the counting of votes will be on May 13. It has been revealed that a total of 25,282 polling booths are being set up.
He said that strict measures will be taken to ensure that money and alcohol are not distributed in the wake of the elections. He said that a total of 2,400 surveillance teams are being formed. He said that 171 inter-state check posts are going to be set up. On the other hand, CEC said that for the first time in the country, vote from home facility will be provided. Elderly and disabled people above 80 years can exercise their right to vote from home.
