New Delhi, February 10, Jankranti News, : —– The National Eligibility Entrance Test – NEET UG 2024 exam notification for admissions to medical courses for the academic year 2024-25 across the country was released on Friday (yesterday). It is known that NTA conducts NEET exam every year for admissions in bachelor courses like MBBS, BDS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced in a notification that the NEET exam will be held on May 5 this year. Apart from English, Hindi and Telugu, this exam will be conducted in 13 languages. It will be conducted in offline mode in pen and paper mode. Slight changes have also taken place in the NEET UG syllabus. The National Medical Commission (NMC) recently announced the details of the changes made in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology subjects regarding the new syllabus of NEET UG-2024.
Candidates appearing for NEET UG must have passed Intermediate or Pre-Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology. Candidates must be completed 17 years of age. Interested candidates can apply online from February 9. Candidates who want to apply can visit the official website https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET and apply. General category candidates will have to pay Rs.1,700, General EWS/ OBC-NCL candidates will have to pay Rs.1600 and SC, ST / Disabled / Third Gender candidates will have to pay Rs.1000 each. March 9, 2024 is the last date for online applications. Information related to other details like download of admit cards, examination centers, examination procedure will be disclosed later.
