Sanapala Ramanaiah, who was working as Chinagadili Rural Tehsildar, was brutally murdered. Tehsildar Ramanaiah resides in Charan Castle Apartment in Kommadi. But on Friday night, an unknown person came near the apartment to meet Tehsildar Ramanaiah. Meanwhile, Tehsildar also came downstairs. It is said that there was an argument between the two for a while.. After that the assailant attacked the tehsildar with an iron rod which he had brought with him. Tehsildar Ramanaiah collapsed and fell down due to severe injuries on his head. Tehsildar Ramanaiah was immediately rushed to the hospital by the residents of Charan Castle apartment. However, the police informed that Tehsildar Ramanaiah died while undergoing treatment there.
Visakhapatnam Commissioner of Police Ravi Shankar went to the place of the incident and inspected.. Also the Collector and Commissioner of Police went to the hospital and inquired about the incident. Meanwhile, the Visakhapatnam police have detained four people who are suspected in connection with the Ramanaiah murder case. 12 special teams are searching for the main accused under DCP Manikantha.
