The issue of resignation of Central Election Commission Commissioner Arun Goyal, a few days before the release of the lok sabha election schedule, while his tenure is still three years away, is causing a political uproar. However, even though Goyal’s tenure is up to December 2027, the opposition is questioning why he had to resign.
