New Delhi, November 3, Jankranti News , : — JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) is a national level entrance examination for engineering courses which is conducted every year across India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Mains (January) 2024 notification on November 2. The online application process started from Thursday morning (November 2). Online application can be done through http://jeemain.nta.nic.in/. The application process will continue till 30th November. NTA said that the details regarding the exam centers will be revealed in the second week of January next year. The notification states that for the first session of JEE Mains (January) 2024 exam, the hall tickets of the candidates can be downloaded 3 days before the exam.

JEE Mains (January) 2024 first phase exam will be held from January 24 to February 1 next year. NTA has made it clear that the exam results will be announced on February 12. The second phase of JEE Mains (April) 2024 will be conducted in April. Candidates can attend any of these two sessions. Or you can apply for both and write the exams. JEE Mains exam will be held in 13 major languages across the country. There is no age limit for writing JEE exam. Any student who has passed Intermediate in 2022, 2023 can appear for these exams.

It is known that NCERT and CBS have reduced the syllabus somewhat during Covid. Due to this, teaching did not take place in some topics. Keeping this in mind, there have been changes in the JEE Mains syllabus this time. JEE Mains released a new syllabus canceling 10 topics in Maths and Chemistry subjects and 12 topics in Physics. JEE is also one of the toughest entrance exams. But this time also changes have been made in the composition of the exam paper to remove the difficulty of the paper. In Maths some relaxation is given from long method questions. Also, trigonometric equations and mathematical reasoning, which are considered tough in maths, have been removed from the syllabus. This is expected to make the exam somewhat easier.
