New Delhi, April 4, Jankranti News, : – MP
representing Amaravati constituency in Maharashtra, movie actress Navneet Kaur Rana got a huge relief in the Supreme Court. It ruled in favor of Navneet Kaur on caste certificate. Supreme Court struck down Bombay HC verdict that Navneet Kaur is not SC.

Navaneet Kaur contested as an independent candidate from Amaravati constituency in 2019 election and won against Shiv Sena candidate Ananda Rao. However, former Shiv Sena MP Ananda Rao alleged that she got the SC caste certificate with fake documents. A petition was filed in Bombay High Court to this extent. The Bombay High Court, which investigated the matter, found Navaneet Kaur’s caste certificate to be false. To this extent, her caste certificate was canceled and a fine of Rs.2 lakh was imposed.

However, Navaneet Kaur went to the Supreme Court against the Bombay High Court verdict. She filed a petition challenging the judgment of the Bombay High Court canceling her caste certificate. The Supreme Court, which heard the petition, recently ruled in favor of Navaneet. The Bombay High Court set aside the judgment.
