JANKRANTI NEWS (ASSAM) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Assam for two days on April 16 and April 17.
PM Modi will address a mega campaign rally at Nalbari in Barpeta Lok Sabha constituency of Assam on April 17.
The Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma told that PM Modi will address the mega rally in Nalbari for the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) candidate for the Barpeta Lok Sabha seat Phani Bhushan Choudhary.
PM Modi on April 16 will stay at night in Guwahati and there will be no roadshow or any programme as notified by the CM Sarma. On 17th April PM will campaign in Nalbari and will go to Agartala of Tripura State.
Earlier Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Assam and addressed a public rally in Lakhimapur of Assam.
Elections for the 14 Lok Sabha constituencies of Assam will take place in a three phase manner. The first phase is starting from April 19. The other two phases are on April 26 and May 7.
