New Delhi, March 3, Janakranti News, : —- The BJP on Saturday evening announced the first list of 195 candidates to contest the Lok Sabha elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again contest from Varanasi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will contest from Gandhi Nagar. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will contest from Lucknow in UP and Smriti Irani will contest from Amethi.
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, who was elected to the Rajya Sabha in the past, will contest from Porbandar in Gujarat. Praveen Khandelwal, Manoj Tiwari and Sushma Swaraj’s daughter Bansuri Swaraj will stand in the ring from Delhi. Jyotiraditya Scindia will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Guna Sthanam in Madhya Pradesh and Rajya Sabha MP Bhupinder Yadav from Alwar. Former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was fielded in the Lok Sabha from abroad.
In the first list, 34 Union Ministers got a chance and 28 women got a place. The two former CMs were given an opportunity. 57 OBCs have been given place in the first list. Party leader Vinod Tawde said that in the first list, 47 seats have been allocated for youth, 27 seats for SCs and 18 seats for STs. 51 candidates from Keelaka UP have been announced in the first list. The names of 20 people from West Bengal and 5 from Delhi have been revealed in the first list. And 9 MP candidates from Telangana got a place in the first list.
