Thanjavur, February 13, Jankranti News: —- President of Tamil Nationalism Pazha Nedumaran made sensational comments that Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) founder Velupillai Prabhakaran is alive at the Mullivaikal memorial premises in Vilar village of Thanjavur.  He said that soon Prabhakaran will come before the people.  Nedumaran also said that Velupillai Prabhakaran is in touch with family members.  Nedumaran said that the news that Velupillai Prabhakaran had died was false.  Nedumaran said that Velupillai Prabhakaran said to tell people that I am alive, that is why the media came forward to tell this matter.  In 2009, Prabhakaran was declared dead in a battle with the Sri Lankan army in Mullaitivu area.  On 18 May 2009 Prabhakaran’s son Charles Anthony was also killed in the fighting.  The Sri Lankan Army also released photos of Prabhakaran’s dead body.  But the statement from Nedumaran that Velupillai Prabhakaran is alive after 14 years has caused a sensation.

However, China is currently trying to turn Sri Lanka into an anti-India stronghold.  In addition to this, there is a danger that the dominance of the Indian Ocean will fall under the control of China and we request the Indian government to stop it.  Pazha Nedumaran said, “We pray that the Government of Tamil Nadu, all parties in Tamil Nadu and the people of Tamil Nadu stand united and support Tamil Eelam National President Prabhakaran at this critical time.”
