New Delhi, February,9 (Jankranti News) M Venkata T Reddy : The Election Commission is preparing to conduct the elections of fifteen legislative councils in Telugu states. Election schedule for 9 seats which are already vacant along with 6 seats which are going to be vacant soon has been released on Thursday. The election commission of India has announced that it will release a notification regarding the election of all 15 seats in the Telugu states on 16th of this month.
February 23 has been announced as the deadline for filing nominations. February 24 has been fixed as the deadline for consideration of nominations. February 27 has been fixed as the deadline for withdrawal of nominations. Polling for these seats will be conducted on March 13 and the counting of votes will be completed on March 16 and the results will be announced. Elections will be held for 8 local bodies, 3 graduate and 2 teacher MLC positions in Andhra Pradesh.
MLCs in Andhra Pradesh are Yandapalli Srinivasulu Reddy (Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor constituencies), Vennapusa Gopalareddy (Kadapa, Anantapur, Kurnool constituencies), Madhav (Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam constituencies), Vithapu Balasunyam (Prakas, Nellore, Chittoor constituencies). , Kathi Narasimha Reddy (Kadapa, Anantapur, Kurnool Upadhyaya Constituency) term has ended. Katepalli Janarthan Reddy’s tenure as Upadhyay MLC of Mahabubnagar-Ranga Reddy districts in Telangana is also coming to an end. Syed Amin ul Hasan Jafri’s tenure as MLC of Hyderabad Lokalbody in Telangana has ended. Notification will be released on February 16 for the vacant MLC posts
