Earthquakes are likely to occur once again, people should be alert: Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Delhi, February 17, Jankranti News, : —- An earthquake struck Delhi and the capital region in the early hours of Monday. Responding to this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that there is a possibility of earthquakes once again and people should be alert. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi advised everyone to remain calm and not to panic. Everyone should take precautionary measures. The Prime Minister posted on X” that the authorities are closely monitoring the situation.

An earthquake struck Delhi, Gurugram and Noida at 5.36 am on Monday. Its intensity was recorded as 4.0 on the Richter scale. People ran out of their houses as the earth shook for 5 to 8 seconds in the early hours of the morning. Earlier, the earth shook in the Bay of Bengal as well. An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred at 11.16 PM on Sunday night.
