Turkey February 9, (Jankranti News) : Turkey and Syria were hit by a huge earthquake.  So far more than 15,000 people have died in this terrible disaster.  Thousands of people were injured.  In Turkey alone, 12,391 people lost their lives, while 2,992 people died in Syria, according to local media sources.  Meanwhile, the two countries turned into mounds of corpses due to the earthquake.  Everywhere you look, you can see the ruins of the collapsed building.

 Meanwhile, satellite images of the affected areas before and after the earthquake have been released.  The relief camps set up in open spaces and stadiums are clearly visible in these satellite images.  At present, more than 25 thousand people are engaged in relief operations there.  The dead bodies under the rubble are being recovered.

 According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 23 million people will be affected by the earthquake.  It said that 77 national and 13 international emergency medical teams are being deployed in the affected areas.  It has been revealed that the death toll in this disaster is likely to exceed 20,000.
