New Delhi, February 9, (Jankranti News) :— The Supreme Court has issued orders to the authorities that no construction should be undertaken within the boundaries of national parks, wildlife sanctuaries and tiger sanctuaries.
The Supreme Court heard the petitions that the very existence of wild animals was becoming a danger. Advocate Gaurav Kumar and others stated in their petitions that several trees are being cut down in Gujjar, Pakar Block and Sonadi ranges in the name of setting up zoo and safaris and construction of haphazard buildings in those areas is harming the environment and endangering the very existence of wildlife. The Supreme Court heard these petitions on Wednesday and issued orders that no construction should be carried out.
