Chennai: Tamil Nadu chief minister and DMK supremo MK Stalin launched a sturdy attack targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his unkept promises. MK Stalin alleged that the PM got no answer when asked about his promises to the people of Tamil Nadu. The Prime Minister did not keep his word to create two crore jobs nor finished the Madurai AIIMS project, he said.
The BJP leader promised to bring back black money and distribute Rs 15 lakh each to the people of the county but nothing happened, Stalin added. “Where is the Rs 15 lakhs you promised to deposit in every Indian citizen’s bank account? Forget 15 lakhs, have you deposited Rs 15,000? Or at least Rs 15 each? No.” he said.
Meanwhile, CM Stalin criticized PM Modi for not having an answer despite DMK MP TR Balu’s demand to revive the Sethu Samudram project, a waterway connecting India and Sri Lanka. BJP should be ashamed of not completing Madurai AIIMS project. Should we once again do something like my son Udayanidhi Stalin’s protest in 2019? MK Stalin asked. Chief Minister MK Stalin lashed out saying that despite reminding him of the promises made by Prime Minister Modi to the people, Prime Minister Modi has become accustomed to being tight-lipped.
