Visakhapatnam, November 23, Jankranti News, : Nowadays almost everyone has Aadhaar card and bank account.  It is also mandatory to link bank account to Aadhaar card.  But many people have more than one bank account.  And how to know which bank account is linked to your Aadhaar card?
    
 It goes without saying that Aadhaar card is essential for Indians.  Aadhaar card is required for bank account, PAN card, etc. to get the benefits of other government schemes.  And even if students want to get scholarships, they should have a bank account linked with Aadhaar card.  Recently, about 12 thousand students of Himachal Pradesh could not get scholarships due to not linking their Aadhaar cards with savings bank accounts in relation to 202-23.  That is why it is mandatory to link bank account with Aadhaar card.  And you need to know which bank account is linked to your Aadhaar card.
 For this you can check the myAadhaar Portal of the Central Unique Identification Authority (UIDAI).  Here one can check which bank account is linked to their Aadhaar number.  But one can have more than one bank account, but you can check which bank account is linked to yours Aadhaar card.
First go to My Aadhaar website https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ and then
 Must login.  A new webpage will open.  Aadhaar number and captcha code should be entered there.  Then click on Send OTP.  Then login using OTP.
 
Then another new web page will open.Tap on ‘Aadhaar-Bank Account Link Status’. There you will see bank seeding status.  Click on it.  There you will see which bank account is linked to Aadhaar card.
 There you can see your bank account seeding with Aadhaar.  Then check whether it is active or inactive.  First you will see the last four digits of your Aadhaar number.  Next is the name of the bank.  After that you can know whether the seeding status of the bank is active or inactive.  The date you last updated will also appear below.
