Lakhisarai, Bihar State, February 21, Jankranti News, : —— A terrible road accident has taken place in Bihar.  Autorickshaw was hit by a truck.  Nine people lost their lives in this incident.  Many were seriously injured.

 According to the police.  The accident took place in the early hours of Wednesday, near Biharaura village on Lakhisarai-Sikandra main road in Lakhisarai district of Bihar.  The auto going towards Lakhisarai was hit by a speeding truck.  At that time there were 15 people in the auto.. nine people lost their lives on the spot.  Six others were seriously injured.  After receiving the information about the accident, the police immediately reached the spot and took rescue measures.  The injured were shifted to Sadar Hospital in Patna for treatment.  The doctors said that the condition of some of them is serious. The police officials said that the number of dead is likely to increase. The police have registered a case and started investigation.

 Eight of the dead hailed from Janghera village under Jamalpur police station in Munger district.  All of them are returning to Munger after doing catering work for a function.  The police officials informed the media that the identity of the dead bodies is yet to be ascertained
