CTET Notification-2024 Update News, :: Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CET)- (July) - 2024 Notification Released, Application Process Started

Delhi,March 8, Jankranti News,: —– Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CET)- July 2024 notification on March 7. At the same time, CEETT started the application process on March 7. Eligible candidates have to apply online till April 2nd by paying the fee. Candidates have to pay Rs.1000 for one paper (Rs.500 for SC,ST,PWD) and Rs.1200 for two papers (Rs.500 for SC,ST,PWD) as application fee. CBSE conducts this exam at the national level twice every year (July and December) to assess the potential of those opting for the teaching profession. ✪ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024,

✦ Primary Stage (for teaching classes 1 to 5) (Paper-1)

* Eligibility: – Passed BED or Inter with Degree with 50% marks in Elementary Education/Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Degree in Elementary Education or Degree in Elementary Education with Degree from a recognized University.

✦ Elementary Stage (for teaching classes 6 to 8) (Paper 2)

* Eligibility:- Diploma/BED in Elementary Education with 50% marks from a recognized University or Inter with 50% marks in Elementary Education or four years BA/BSc Education, BAED, BSED, Degree with BED (Special Education) or equivalent examination passed.

* Application Fee:- General/OBC candidates have to pay Rs.1000 for Paper-1 or Paper-2. Applicants have to pay Rs.1200 for both papers. SC, ST, PHC candidates Rs.500 for Paper-1 or Paper-2; Rs.600 should be paid for both papers.

* Test Procedure, :-

✦ Paper-1: Primary Stage (PRT): Paper-1 written exam will be conducted for a total of 150 marks. There will be total 5 sections. 30 questions will be given in each section from Child Development & Pedagogy, Language-1, Language-2, Mathematics, Environmental Studies and one mark per question. The duration of the exam is 3 hours.

✦ Paper-2: Elementary Stage (TGT): Paper-2 written test will be conducted for a total of 150 marks. It has 3 sections. Of these, 30 questions will be given from Child Development & Pedagogy, Language-1, Language-2, 60 questions from Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Science with one mark per question in each section. The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
