Hyderabad, November 30, Jankranti News, : — Telangana State Assembly Election Polling has started today morning (30-11- 2023) from 7 AM.  People have been standing in queues at the polling booths since morning to vote.  Polling for assembly elections in 119 constituencies of the state will continue from 7 am to 5 pm.  Polling will be held in 13 problematic constituencies from 7 am to 4 pm.  There are a total of 3,26,799 voters in the state.  The number of male voters is 1,62,98,418 while there are 1,63,01,705 female voters.  There are 2,676 transgender voters.  9,99,667 voters aged 18-19 will exercise their right to vote.  The authorities have prepared the EVM machines in all the polling booths for the polling yesterday.  35,655 polling stations have been set up across the state for voting.

 Special arrangements have been made at the polling stations for the disabled.  There are a total of 2,00433 polling staff on election duty.  12,909 micro observers will monitor the polling process.  Six staff including polling officer will be on duty with each polling booth.  The authorities have prepared 21,686 wheelchairs for the disabled.  Disabled and above 80 years are provided free transport facility.  Voter slips and sample ballots are made available in Braille for the blind.  120 polling stations are being run by the disabled.  597 polling stations are manned by women.
